A new SCCM desktop support group is being developed to take
over the responsibility for Microsoft SCCM 2012 serve for desktop patch
management, application deployment and OS image control for all divisions
of a large NYC based firm.
Consultant will assist SCCM team to configure and customize SCCM 2012
server for patch management and OS image control automation and create a
standard SCCM operating procedure.
Responsibilities
• SCCM 2012 server currently serving one domain with limited
desktop/server. Client is in process of expanding the services to multi
domains with all division desktops/servers to manage systems centrally
under just one console. To facilitate this expansion, consultant will
assist SCCM team to configure SCCM 2012 server to achieve optimized
performance.
• Consultant will assist Client SCCM team to create customized
reports for having real scenarios of entire SCCM activities.
• Many of the Software Update Groups are now idle in SCCM 2012
server and need to reconcile for better services.
• Consultant will verify the configuration of WSUS and adjust
the parameter if needed to establish an effective communication between
SCCM and WSUS server.
