Job Title:Sr. DBA Primary Skill:Oracle Duration: 7 month(s) Position Type:Contract Location :SAN RAMON CA Job Description Description: · The Data Coordinator is a member of Client’s Downstream Manufacturing IT Operations group. · This team provides IT support to Client’s seven wholly owned refineries. · Team members handle escalations as needed to solve complex IT issues and service requests. · This role will support an IT project to manage data load requests from the initial request, through implementation · The Data Coordinator must have experience in Oracle SQL, with the ability to develop and debug complex SQL Scripts. · We are looking for proven experience in the analysis of SQL load files, with the ability to identify and coordinate the resolution of errors, prior to loading. · Strong organization and communication skills are required. · Will need to quickly learn the established processes. · Experience using SharePoint and the Meridium application, version 3.6, functionality is preferred but not required. · Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: · Coordinate data loading requests associated with the project, from the 7 wholly owned refineries · Communicate status and issues of data loading requests · Execute developed Maximo queries · Follow established detailed processes and handoffs to fully execute identified devices · Conduct initial triage of issues, as needed · Provide timely communications to Project Team and IT Ops on load results and analysis · Provide realistic expectations for data-loading turnaround (for project team and refinery) Education: Oracle SQL data loading Experience: · 3-5 years experience as a Sr DBA · Direct work experience utilizing Oracle SQL · Ability to understand, create and modify data loads using SQL · Strong Excel skills · Must be able to follow established detailed processes to load data into Meridium application using Meridium tools (devices). · Critical thinking, problem solving is vital · Ability to prioritize work and juggle multiple job-loading requests at the same time · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Results oriented with strong focus on execution · Self-starter with ability to work independently but in alignment with team goals Preferred Skills: · Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Meridium v.3.6 functionality · Demonstrated experience and knowledge of SharePoint -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
