Job Title: *Front-End Drupal Web Developer* *(local candidates only)* Location: Santa Clara, CA 95054 Duration: 6 - 12 months C2Ccontract *Description:* Our premier direct client is looking for a *Front-End Drupal Web Developer* to join their team on a contract in Santa Clara, CA. *Overview:* As a seasoned web developer with Drupal 7 experience & strong front-end development. *You* will partner with the stakeholders to scope and develop new applications. *Top skills you will need for this role:* - Drupal - Front-end Development skills (PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3 & jQuery) - MySQL, Web Services *You will:* - Developing & maintaining custom Drupal 7 modules, content-types & themes using PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Web Services & related technologies. - Build and maintain custom Drupal 7 themes (Responsive Design) - Build and maintain front-end code - Build and maintain custom Drupal 7 modules - Work with stakeholders to write technical specifications based on their requirements - Build new features based on technical specifications - Work with external APIs to integrate sales, marketing and other systems - Migrating data into and out of Drupal - Create and run functional testing *You need this experience and skill:* - 5+ years working on enterprise-grade websites - 3+ years experience developing with Drupal - Expert in front-end development (PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3 & jQuery) - Proficient in MySQL, Web Services & related technologies - Developed corporate websites from the ground-up and working with Drupal 7 - Familiarity with version control and code management tools such as SVN, Perforce or CVS - Has written at least a few custom Drupal modules from scratch (bonus for contrib modules) - Expert with Drupal 7 theming.
