Successful client seeking an Exchange Server Admin Advisor for a contract
opportunity in Plano, TX!

About the Opportunity:

Plan and support Microsoft Office 365 enterprise messaging system.  Analyze
and resolve complex exchange and email issues.  Work independently and with
the Enterprise Technology teams to implement Exchange and email solutions.
Provide support for various Microsoft Office 365 solutions including Lync /
Skype for business, Active Directory Federated Services (AD FS 3.0), and
Fore Front Identity Management (FIM) solutions.

Requirements:

·  2013 Exchange Online.

·  Office 365.

·  Must be proactive.

Responsibilities:

·  Accountable for creating policies and new operational models for the
architecture.

·  Create operational guides for the Office 365 and Lync environment.

·  Assist the Microsoft team in implementing security-related enablement
activities.

·  Responsible for statistics gathering relating to performance and metrics.

·  Provide Leadership to other administrators in resolving issues.

·  Research and define more complex problems and functions involving
existing systems and react quickly to resolve problem situations to
maximize system availability.

·  Provide troubleshooting support of Exchange issues and Outlook clients.

·  Investigates user escalation calls.

·  Finds optimum solutions.

·  Performs PowerShell scripting administration tasks.

·  Reports the use of Power-Shell or other scripting technology.

·  Develop scripts for automating processes.

·  Participates in weekend maintenance activities (such as mailbox moves,
mailbox load balancing, Exchange Server build and deployment), as required.

·  Performs discovery and provides responses to open item requests [Service
Desk].

·  Manages Spam / Virus filtering technology [FOPE].

·  Adheres to and helps enforce change / service level management and
compliance processes.

·  Coordinates planning and troubleshooting efforts with Associate
Technology Support staff.

·  Responsible for the ongoing system management and recovery.

Education Requirements:

·  BS degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work
experience.

·  Skills working with a Large-scale Microsoft Exchange, Windows Servers,
ADFS, FIM, and Lync.

·  Microsoft Certifications.

·  Windows Certifications.

Preferred Skills:

·  8+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Exchange in a large scale
environment.

·  Experience supporting Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365.

·  Strong communication and customer service skills.
