looking for a Java Senior Software Engineer with one AEM or Adobe CQ5
project completed. You will get to work on development efforts for highly
visible, cutting edge consumer facing websites built on the Adobe
Experience Manager (AEM) CMS Platform for highly recognized and
distinguished consumer brands. We are seeking a highly motivated and
technically proficient Java engineer with experience developing projects
on the AEM Adobe Experience Manager / Adobe CQ platform.
*Responsibilities:*
- Participate in website Java development efforts with a specialization
on the Adobe AEM CMS platform
- Responsible for the development activities, including plan, define,
design, and implementation of significant modules
- Prepare for and participate in code and design reviews
- Help guide all junior developers on the team
- Ensure completion of coding assignments, following best practices
- Ensure delivery of quality system level documentation
- Ensure execution of unit tests and communication of results of unit
testing
- Participate in knowledge sharing activities
- Keep technology skills and knowledge current for self and team members
- Support scoping of projects
- Support administration of systems
*Qualifications:*
- At least one completed project delivering enterprise level website
development using Adobe AEM
- Experience with Adobe AEM Solutions and technologies
- AEM Developer & Component Developer certifications highly desired
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong communication skills
- Strong tech management skills
- Able to communicate with client tech representatives
- Agency or consulting experience
- Experience with large branded websites
- Solid understanding of the Maven build system
- Ability to understand client business and explain technical solutions
to non technical audience
- Experience defining REST APIs and implementing RESTful services
- Project Technologies
- Adobe AEM
- Adobe CQ
- Sling
- JCR
- JEE
- OSGi
- Fullstack web development experience preferred
- Background in relational databases and SQL; MySQL and
Oracle experience is a plus
