*Position : Citrix Engineer * *Duration : 6-12 Months * *Interview : Phone/ Skype (F2F if Locals) Remote Job* This is a *100% remote* and I need someone with excellent communication skills as this consultant will speaking over the phone with the users. * Job Description* · The Citrix / VDI Engineer is an important member of the project team tasked with *deploying virtual desktops to roughly 5,000 of users in a distributed, international organization.* · The *organization is divided into numerous sites, each of which has its own VDI implementation schedule*. These site migrations roll up into the VDI program. · The *Citrix / VDI Engineer builds the relevant infrastructure for each site, and then ensures the site successfully transitions through testing and go-live.* *Job Requirement* · Citrix XenApp 7.6 · Citrix XenDesktop 7.6 · Citrix Provisioning Services 7.6 · *Citrix XenDesktop experience is required – preferably 7.6* (5.X is also acceptable) · Experience with related Citrix products is assumed (*XenApp, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, etc*.) · *Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) experience is required* · Microsoft App-V experience is a plus (this position works closely with the App-V team on the project) · Experience working on large, multidisciplinary teams · Excellent communication skills · Experience working in enterprise client organizations · Should be proficient in deploying a large number of VDI instances using all the above technologies *Job Responsibilities* · *Environment Build* o Build/deploy desktop images for sites o Work alongside application team(s), as needed, to ensure images have the appropriate applications § Note: Citrix infrastructure/architecture is already in place; the Citrix / VDI Engineer will not be responsible for architecture changes o Ensure site environment is ready to transition to UAT · *User Acceptance Testing & Issue Resolution* o Serve as escalation point if/when issues are identified by site users during UAT § Resolve Citrix issues § If application issues are identified, triage to application teams; work with application teams, as necessary, to ensure issues are resolved · *Go-Live* o Serve as escalation point when Go-Live Support teams are unable to resolve issues Regards Sandeep Chauhan Technical Recruiter VSG Business Solutions 221, Cornwell Dr, Bear, DE 19701 Contact No.: 302-261-3207 X 103 Email: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
