The Product Specialist is the expert for a technical development or execution environment product or set of products. WORK SITE: 1400 Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA WORK HOURS: 40 Hours/week 1. Supports all facets of Enterprise Reporting Solution. a. SAP Business Objects XI3.1 / Crystal Reports 2008 b. SAP Business Intelligence 4.1 / Crystal Reports 2013 2. Performs a lead role in providing skilled technical support associated with server operation and maintenance. 3. Maintains Microsoft Server 2008R2 and 2012R2. 4. Manages application environment including structures and security. 5. Configure data source connections on servers (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, etc) 6. Consult with and make recommendations to supervisors regarding hardware and software upgrades, and maintenance contract issues. 7. Responsible for solution version management, including service pack, fix pack, and hot fix testing and installation. 8. Research (along with development team) the latest advances in the SAP reporting suite of products and make recommendations to Agency. 9. Manage report object and historical instances (failed and successful). Work with users to purge unused objects. 10. Performs system maintenance. 11. Provides system governance oversight. 12. Responsible for monitoring solution status through regular checks throughout the day. 13. Periodically reviews failed instances and investigates issues. 14. Assists users with “Best Practices” for the reporting solution. 15. Assists users in troubleshooting reporting solution related issues. 16.
