Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods 4. Demonstrated experience with object-oriented design and coding with variety of languages Java, J2EE, Big Data Components/ Frameworks (Hadoop, HBase, MapReduce, HDFS, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, Avro etc.) and other AJAX tools/ Frameworks. 5. A BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience 7. Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing 8. Experience with implementing integrated automated release management using tools/technologies/frameworks like Maven, Subversion, code/security review tools 9. Experience with web services , open API development, and SOA concepts 10. Advanced experience with parallel & distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, message queuing, and relational databases 11. Good understanding of concurrent programming and related techniques 12. Web services design and implementation using REST, SOAP 13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 14. Demonstrated leadership in designing sustainable software products, setting development standards, automated code review process, continuous build and rigorous testing etc. 15. Ability to effectively lead and communicate across 3rd parties, technical and business product managers on solution design. 16. Applies visualization and other techniques to fast track concepts. 17. Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.
