Need only EAD GC/GC/USC candidate SCOPE OF SERVICES: This position involves the design, development and maintenance of state-of-the-art J2EE / JavaScript / MVC /Spring Web application. This person will work from specifications to develop or modify complex software programming applications. Duties include designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs. Determine requirements for new system or new features and documentation of modifications and new code procedures. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of design and construction of large scale integration systems using J2EE / Spring / JavaScript and implementing complex technology in a global and heterogeneous environment. JavaScript experience a plus with object-oriented JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. You will be responsible for building out our next-generation application. We encourage innovation, creativity, and a think outside of the box attitude when solving complex problems and implementing new solutions. Write clean, high quality/performance maintainabe code. • Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to create responsive UI. • Test your code using Test Driven Development, writing both unit and functional tests. • Builds software applications – Follows coding standards, builds appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts. • Assists in defining software architectures – Collaborates with leads to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, and learns the applications capabilities. • Translates designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance. • Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies. Required Skills • Spring Framework 3.x/4.x, Spring Data • Strong debugging skills. • Over 7+ years of prior experience working as a Java developer. • Experience coding JavaScript, HTML, CSS ,UML designs. JProbe. • Tomcat/tcServer, MongoDB, RabbitMQ. • Java/J2EE. HTML5 development. CSS3 (or last version) development. • Browser compatibility awareness- Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer. • Knowledge of JavaScript and various javascript libraries including but not limited to Backbone.js, NodeJS, Knockout, AngularJS, batman.js, Closure, ExtJS, JQuery Mobile, or Sencha Touch, HTML5/CSS3. • Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance. • Experience with REST and service-based architectures. • Strong foundation of object oriented programming. • Strong communication skills; attention to detail and discipline. • Strong ability to write and communicate in the English language. • Ability to work on a team. • Proven track record of delivering quality products quickly and efficiently.
