Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressive experience in Software Quality
Assurance Performance Testing
BA in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems
BA + 5 years or more experience
Web and thick client software performance testing using HP Performance
Center / LoadRunner 9.5 or above.
This must include:
Ø VuGen scripting experience using Web Multimedia, Web Services and RIA
Protocols. Creating and enhancing scripts with parameterization, dynamic
correlation, flow control and performance and functional validation using C
programming.
Ø LoadRunner Controller scenario design and setup that includes defining
Run-Time settings, LoadGenerator setup and vuser distribution,
ramp-up/ramp-down design, execution scheduling.
Ø Monitoring setup for OS monitoring of Windows and Unix servers,
application servers (weblogic, websphere, etc.) and database servers
(Oracle, SQL Server) using the built in monitors or HP SiteScope
Ø LoadRunner Analysis: creating test analysis using MS Access and
SQLServer or Oracle databases, create basic and drill-down and merged
graphs, configuring graphs
5 years or more
MS Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point
Create/Update/Program Excel spreadsheets (use of advanced formulas, pivot
tables, macros etc). Create/update flow charts and diagrams with MS Visio.
Create/update documents and presentations with MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
5 years or more
Performance Testing Support Tools
Experience with deep dive analytics tools (e.g. Wily, Dynatrace or
equivalent), browser profiling tools (e.g.: Firebug or similar), Network
analyzer tools (e.g.:Fiddler or Wireshark or equivalent)
3 years or more
HP Quality Center
Create and manage defects.
2 years or more
HP Quality Center
Creating and executing automated tests using Test Plan and Test Lab modules.
Desired, but not required
HP QTP/UFT
Creating and executing automated scripts using data tables, environment
variables and added VBScripting for functional validation, performance
validation and flow control
