DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: *The Senior Business/Systems Analyst reviews, analyzes
and evaluates business systems to develop detailed understanding of user
needs. Design, implement and work with CRM applications. *Responsible for
gathering business requirements and ensuring that production issues are
minimal after implementation of new enhancements, changes or upgrades. The
Sr. Business Systems Analyst works closely with Quality Assurance and IT
Development. *Prepares documentation, workflow charts and process flows to
outline details needed to develop and/or modify systems. Participates in
scheduled rollouts of technical project work ensuring changes are in
accordance with design specifications, meet quality assurance standards and
are seamlessly implemented as required.* Many activities are project
related and the Senior Business Systems Analyst may assist the project
manager.
Document system functions and cross functional processes for the IT group
as well as selected items for our internal business customers.
Provide consulting support on processes and systems issues.
Collect, document and analyze business requirements and functional
specifications for cross functional projects to provide the best solution
for business needs.
Identify operational inefficiencies, conflicting business practices and
integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions.
Integrate project activities with Quality Assurance and Software Developers
to ensure successful implementation and support of projects.
Develop productive business relationships both internal and external and
integrate activities with project team members, primarily quality assurance
and developers to ensure successful implementation and support of projects.
Foster and maintain productive relationships with customers and IT
colleagues.
Provide day to day support and troubleshooting of user and application
problems within a specific business area.
Participate with other IT staff, and internal customers in new product
reviews, tests and pilots if necessary.
*Requirements: EDUCATION: College Degree or equivalent work experience *
*Project management accreditation preferred.*
EXPERIENCE:
· 3-5 years experience in systems analysis.
· Experience analyzing user requirements, designing systems and
managing project scope and a good understanding of general business
practices.
COMPLEXITY:
· Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.
· Utilizes strong decision making skills, and communicates well
with other team members and others cross-functionally.
· Identifies problems and recommends solutions and possesses the
ability to write clear, concise technical documentation.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
· Works in a team environment, with direct responsibility for
engineering and integration resources and indirect responsibility for
architect, QA and support resources.
· Must be able to work with both business users and software
developers.
· Works closely with internal departments and business users
throughout the company as well as external clients.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Sets and works within deadlines.
· Must be able to manage internal and client expectations as they
relate to all facets of projects.
· Participates in meetings and conference calls with clients.
