VMWare Engineer Houston, TX 3 months Overview: Client is looking for a seasoned engineer who has deep knowledge of VMWare ESX. The client is running a HP blades and they are doing firmware upgrades. They need a consultant who can assist them with the upgrades and any interoperability in the VM ESX environment. This is a cloud datacenter. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent in Computer Science and/or Business Administration • VCP 5 desired. • Minimum 6 years of experience deploying and supporting Windows Server products • Experience with HP blades. • Minimum 3 to 5 years proven experience with VMware Vsphere ESXi 4.x and/or 5.x. • Experience with Vcenter 4.x and/or 5.x and troubleshooting performance based virtual issues • Deep understanding of VMware networking, HA, DRS, Storage DRS and vMware best practices. • Experience with VMware View, vCenter Operations Manager, vCloud Director a plus. • Excellent communication skills ·Experience with cloud based infrastructure a plus.
