*Job Title: BO**/* *Business Objects Admin Location:* *PLEASANTON, CA, Duration: 12+ Months* *Job description:-* *Essential Skills* Strong knowledge in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as Developing, Testing, Migrating, Administrating, Security Management and 24/7 Production supporting. · Experienced in Business Intelligence/Business Objects (BI/BO) enterprise solutions that include Business Objects architecture, software deployment, Business Objects administration, Security, Universe/Report/Dashboard development, documentation, Production Support and user training. · Installed, configured, administered and maintained various Business Objects Enterprise Solutions on Windows and UNIX systems. · Extensive experience with Universe design, Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, creating ad-hoc reports and archiving reports along with performing User acceptance testing and Data accuracy test. Experience in Installation and Configuration, creation of repositories and security domain with user groups and security implementation. Involved in creating universes, designing, implementing and maintaining various reports using Business Objects XI 4.0/XIR3.1/XIR2/6.5/5.x across development, staging and Production environments. · Successfully applied fix pack and Service Pack patches on the Enterprise servers. Installed, Troubleshoot, upgraded and maintained the various Business Objects. Provided 24X7 support to the users. Experience in Designing/Developing the User-Interface (Universe/Data-Model), Developing Canned/Ad-hoc Reports, Scheduling and processing of reports. · Strong proficiency with various Relational Databases Oracle 10g/9i/8i, Netezza & IBM DB2. · Experience in Dimensional data modeling techniques, Star and Snowflake schemas. · Experienced in writing and tuning SQL queries. · Extensive knowledge in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle SDLC (Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Documentation). · Exposure to version tracking control systems (PVCS, CVS, Change Request).
