This side Akash and I have a urgent requirement for my client, Please reply ASAP, *Position: *DevOps Engineer *Location: *Sunnyvale, CA *Duration*: 12+ Months *Mode: *Phone then F2F Locals Only. *What You'll Do: * The Senior Systems Engineer position will be responsible for developing, configuring, installing, and maintaining technology in a mission critical environment. This professional will participate in departmental projects by assisting in the development of project plans, documentation, and performing of project tasks. Responsibilities also include performing daily system maintenance tasks and participating in on-call duty. Additionally, this person must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment where projects may take as little as a few days from conception to deployment. *The Day to Day: * · Provides support for various applications and application servers · Develop, modify, support and maintain AWS-based components for public facing Infrastructure, application back-end and admin and monitoring features. · Create, maintain and enhance the following: Automate builds, test, validate and maintain infrastructure documentation for our AWS and local datacenter components. · Collaborate with our product engineering groups to engineer creative solutions for new product development. · Continuously work to improve product, process tools and efficiency for the purpose of company’s growth, user experience and timely product delivery. · Prepare periodic reports on engineering activities, for the purposes of project management and resource planning. · Periodically meet with product engineering and infrastructure partners, in order to maintain close collaborative relationships and resolve integration issues. · Installs new server and network systems and prepares their initial documentation · Monitors and administers Linux/Windows servers and network systems, keeping system information up-to-date · Assists manager and architects in the planning and design of the company's server and network systems · Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security · Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs · Troubleshoots and repairs system and network issues · Work with the release team for deployment and product support team for post-product related issues. *Are We a Match: * · BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. · 7+ years’ experience with operating system (Linux and/or Windows) installation and patch administration in an Internet services environment. · 3-5+ years’ general DevOps/WS/Infrastructure experience. · 5+ years’ experience with the configuration and maintenance of LDAP in a multi-site environment. · 5+ years’ experience with SAN storage, blade server technology (IBM/HP), VMWare virtualization · 5+ year experience with configuration and maintenance of common web based applications such as Apache (1.x/2.x), Java based application Server architectures (Tomcat/Weblogic), IIS · 5+ years’ experience with NTP, SSH, DNS, and SNMP. · 5+ years’ experience with database systems (MySQL and/or SQL Server) · 3+ years’ experience with shell scripting. · 3+ years’ of AWS/Cloud infrastructure experience. · 2+ years’ experience with configuration management and automation. · Practical experience with most of if not all components of AWS: EC2, Beanstalk, ELB, Route53, S3, Cloudfront, SNS, SWF, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, ElasticCache, IAM, CloudFormation. · Proven ability to automate common administration tasks. · Experience working with load balancing technologies and web server farms · Must possess a strong ability to document standards, methods and produce drawings of environments. · Basic Project management principals · Must be a motivated self-starter with attention to detail · Team oriented performer, focused on the tasks and goals of the organization · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent grammar and composition skills *Thanks & Regards,* Akash Sinha Kani Solutions *Phone:* 609-952-6469 *Email*: [email protected] *Gtalk: *[email protected] LinkedIn <https://www.linkedin.com/pub/akash-sinha/b1/a04/57b> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
