End Client is: American Airlines Senior J2EE Engineer Fort Worth, TX 76155 Shift: M-F, 8-5 Rate: $59/hr Overview The candidate should be able to analyze, design, develop, test, document, and implement in accordance with requirements, existing methodologies, and company standards. This is for production support and minor enhancements. The consultant will be responsible for understanding the technical vision within development areas of assigned projects and initiatives. This role is responsible for actively implementing the project direction & objectives through independent development. Resource will act as the Lead to the technical team to identify technical solutions to business problems. Independently executes component-level development tasks with little direction. Mentors developers that are new to technologies utilized on assigned projects. Assures that all technical deliverables they authored during a project are consistent with organizational standards. Provides production support of existing systems as needed. Experience • 5+ years in J2EE/GUI Development • Must have technical leadership experience • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science • Enterprise Java-based systems and related tools & frameworks Modern GUI design and implementation Design and implementation Test Driven Development Service oriented architecture/reusable component development, refactoring UML, design patterns • Solid written and oral communications are required • UI experience includes modern GUI design and implementation and experience with Java, J2EE, Websphere, and MQ Series Tools J2EE (Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition) Java/Swing GUI (Graphical User Interface) Websphere/RAD expertise, strong with MQ Series.
