Strong in SQL, JavaScript, C# and MVC. *This position will work on the Specialty Pharmacy Portal Team. The Prescriber Portal is closely integrated with our pharmacy dispensing database adding value to our Prescribers allowing them access to real-time prescription information. The Portal will continue to grow as more business needs/requirements are added to the scope. The Portal team currently consist of 3 developers and 1 QA member. There is also the dispensing system that is used to dispense the drugs and manage business operations functionality. This area of the business is expanding with new pharmacies. The team currently consist of 8 developers and 3 QA. This position will design, code, repair, enhance, integrate, upgrade, convert, provide level-3 support, and administer application software, and middleware. Work is performed within guidelines set by management regarding the development life cycle, version control, source code control, documentation, unit testing, code verification, code deployment, and team collaboration. This level of software engineer should know software concepts, procedures and best practices and apply them on a daily basis to meet deliverables. They should have a full grasp of Object Oriented Programming Concepts. In addition, they will work on most stories independently with minimal supervision; however they don’t have a full grasp of the big picture, nor the full software development life cycle. Full latitude for independent judgment when applying skills and problem solving capabilities, with oversight required by senior team members. * This position collaborates with the development team, QA, Security, collaborative groups/clients and other cross-functional teams to define, provide for, and test deliverables.
