Looking for a Search Developer for a contract position with one of our
leading clients in Washington, DC. Needs some type of Search Development
experience, with any Search tool -
Our client is using FAST Search in SharePoint 2010 and is also evaluating
new Search options. We are looking for a hands-on Search Developer to
support the current environment and help with the full life cycle planning
for transition to the new Search environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
*-Experience developing and modifying searches with any tool.*
*-Custom development in SharePoint or .Net, C# coding background needed.*
*-Experience with Application Security.*
*-Some SharePoint experience (XSLT, JQuery) is needed.*
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
-Experience with Analytics tools in SharePoint such as Omniture or Google
will be a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-As a Search Developer you will develop and implement solutions, maintain
and support existing solutions, resolve production issues and support
testers and work with moving to a new Search environment.
-Provides design recommendations based on long-term IT organization
strategy.
-Develops enterprise level SharePoint application and custom integration
solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and
features.
-Will assist in the most difficult support problems.
