*Duration: DOE (9+ months)* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Note: 10+ years exp. must* Job Description: *OVERVIEW:* The Enterprise Middleware Services Team is looking for a Sr Weblogic Portal consultant who has in-depth expertise in Weblogic Portal. The consultant will be responsible for upgrading home-grown Weblogic Portal shared libraries from 10.3.2 to 10.3.6 and ensuring that adopted Portal features are functioning properly on the upgraded infrastructure. The upgrade involves design and implementation of the shared libraries that are used by a suite of Portal applications and issue resolution of Portal features with vendor. *KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS (in approximate order of priority—most important listed first)* • Experienced in java/EE. • Experienced in Spring and Struts development. • Experienced in developing Weblogic shared libraries. • Experienced in Weblogic security service framework. • Experienced in UUP (Unified user profiles). • Experienced in Portal user entitlement API. • Experienced in WSRP. • Experienced in Portal propagation • Experienced in Adobe Flex. • Experienced in Weblogic administration and configuration • Experienced in Weblogic Portal administration and configuration • Experienced in troubleshooting in the context of Weblogic Portal and resolving issues with vendor. • Experienced in ant, Maven, WLST scripting and Linux shell scripting. • Strong communication skill and technical leadership for interfacing with multiple teams. *MAJOR DUTIES* • Design and implement Weblogic Portal 10.3.6 shared libraries that provide single-sign on with OAM/Security infrastructure, Unified User Profile (UUP) for user provisioning and management, propagation to migrate portal resources from one environment to another, Web Services for Remote Portlets (WSRP), user customization and user emulation for help-desk troubleshooting. • Perform troubleshooting of the upgraded Weblogic Portal 10.3.6 shared libraries that are used by multiple applications being upgraded. • Assist in the POC for migration from Weblogic Portal 10.3.2 to 10.3.6 and help map out the migration path. • Validate adopted Weblogic Portal 10.3.6 features and resolve issues with vendor. • Perform administration and configuration testing of Weblogic Portal 10.3.6. • Perform Weblogic Portal 10.3.6 domain creation. • Assist in application migration dryrun from Weblogic Portal 10.3.2 to 10.3.6. • Develop automation for management and maintenance of Portal shared libraries through all the deployment environments on the upgraded Weblogic Portal 10.3.6 infrastructure. • Develop automation for Weblogic Portal propagation and for application build, stage, migration and deployment on the upgraded Weblogic Portal 10.3.6 infrastructure. • Create design, operation and maintenance documentation for delivered products. *EXPERIENCE* • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline • At least 10 years of experience in software development methodologies • 7+ years of experience in Weblogic Portal. *Thanks & Regards,* *Kumar* Kevin Global solutions Office Phone: 2148847985 Email: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
