Linux Administrator Plano, TX 6 weeks $65.00/hr Overview: Consultant must have day to day, hands on Linux operating system experience in a large enterprise (datacenter) environment. Will be responsible for the install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Role Description: • Assist with re-writing scheduling portal for Linux systems • Configure scheduling for “outage window” • Scripting logic to ensure process adheres to outage window of current VCE Windows/Linux environment • Ensure the proper quiescence of applications and databases • Assist with testing of scheduling portal Assist with creation of user documentation for scheduling portal • Assist with creation of technical documentation for scheduling portal • Assist with creation of executive presentation overviewing patching process1.
