please send your resumes to [email protected] or you can reach me at 703-436-6334 ** ** **Title: Healthcare Data Analyst / HEDIS Consultant Location: 501 Boylston Street, Boston MA Interview: Face to Face Initial Duration: Through September 2016 + extensions (7 + months Position Summary: The Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA) is seeking the services of a SENIOR QUANTIATIVE HEDIS CONSULTANT experienced with the processing and analyzing of medical, pharmacy, vision, and dental commercial claims data including Medicare Advantage (Medicare Part C). CHIA is enhancing its current data resources. As part of the new development, CHIA is seeking a quantitative consultant to advise on (1) the categorization of commercial claims into HEDIS categories, (2) the creation of utilization metrics consistent with HEDIS standards from claims data, and (3) the education and training of CHIA staff in how to calculate, analyze, and apply HEDIS measures. The Consultant will perform quantitative data analysis with HEDIS measures using claims and membership data. The Consultant will provide expertise in the interpretation of HEDIS metrics, and contribute to the development of CHIA metric standards. Part of the work will consist of calculating historical HEDIS metrics and measuring trends. The Consultant will draft guidelines on service categorization, develop utilization methodologies, and produce training materials to support this effort. All candidates must meet the qualifications listed below to be considered for this position. Preferred candidates will have hands-on experience with Massachusetts all-payers claims data, Mass Health data, or commercial claims from a Massachusetts based health care insurer. The candidate cannot work remotely. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Insurance will receive up to $3,394,884 to support activities intended to enhance its current health insurance rate review process. We’re anticipating that 100% of the costs for this program will be funded by Federal money and no program costs will be financed by nongovernmental sources.
