*Description:*
Our SI client has been working on a global SAP implementation for a
manufacturing client near Lansing MI.
The program has since shifted to roll out mode. There were 36 Plants and
Facilities to roll it out to when they started. They were broken into 6
groups, with 2 roll outs completed so far.
To facilitate these roll outs they created a team of stabilization
consultants. This team works as a Hypercare unit for each roll out, acting
as a support team for roughly 3 months on each roll out. They have direct
interface w end users at the plants, with one person assigned to each plant
in the current release. At the plant they support the users, help roll out
the product, diagnose and troubleshoot problems. Once the sites are stable
the team goes back to corporate, and begins working on the next release.
Right now they are looking to add an SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) consultant
to the stabilization team.
The initial contract is for 5 months, but is expected to extend into 2017
