the candidates need to be local to the area.
Candidates don't need to have SP .NET experience, they need to have worked
on customized web apps and worked in a smaller SDLC environment.
*Supporting: CUSTOM applications built in .net and sharepoint. *These
includ: Event logistics (scheduling), managing scheduling for WWE talent
(wrestlers), Free tickets portal (for employees), sharepoint fill-a-form
for new hires, booking travel, etc.
*Role day-to-day activity: *working on both brand-new and existing custom
applications, collecting and documenting requirements, identifying and
defining enhancements, bugs etc., documenting
workflows/wireframes/flowcharts/swim lanes and signing off on development,
managing the offshore group through deployment cycle
*Preferred experience:* Managing offshore teams/vendors
*Summary:*
The Business Analyst will be responsible for:
- Supporting existing custom applications, off-the-shelf solutions
and *SharePoint
Nintex Workflows*
- Acting as liaison between business users, vendors and offshore
developers
- Working with Business Users to document requirements and workflows for
new projects
*Duties and responsibilities:*
- Create detailed documentation for new projects, enhancements and bug
fixes.
- Create various artifacts such as wireframes, flowcharts, swim lanes,
test cases, etc.
- Manage the planning, requirements gathering, design, development, UAT
and implementation for all releases
- Work with Business Users to identify and introduce new enhancements,
refine to requirements, troubleshoot solution and test functionality.
- Identify software gaps to business functionality requirements,
identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical
and business suitability.
- Participate in the process of defining customer requirements and
documenting associated application functional requirements.
- Support applications to meet uptime & SLA
- Provide regular updates to Business Users and Management on status,
progress & problems with various initiatives.
- Coordinate & collaborate with Infrastructure and Helpdesk team.
- Utilize project management disciplines including ensuring
establishment of objectives & detailed business requirements, definition of
interim and end-state deliverables, milestones, target dates, management of
interdependencies, ensuring ongoing management commitment and other
associated tasks as necessary.
- Manage offshore developers and interaction with external vendors.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor degree in IT, IS, CS or similar fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 4+ years of experience supporting custom .Net & Sharepoint applications
- Proficiency in requirement documentation using wireframes, flowcharts,
swim lanes, etc. is required.
- Proficient with MS-Office including Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Scrum, Agile project management methodologies.
