Must be in Pacific or Central time zone as they will work in Pacific and Chennai hours. Most of the time hours will be normal, but there will be occasion for nights and weekends. Also open to candidates that prefer nights. Looking for a candidate who combines deep technical skills on Oracle RAC with a passion for both innovation and the challenges of database security. The Data Platform Security team works on the engineering challenges specific to delivering security and compliance on highly available, highly scalable systems. We’re looking for an individual who can think outside the box but still deliver solid solutions, is excited by delivering automated and self-healing systems, and wants to rise to the challenge of always-on security and continuous patching. *Requirements* · 6+ years of Oracle DBA experience, RAC required, Goldengate a plus · Extensive experience with Oracle patching, configuration, health and performance · Experience with OEM provisioning pack or similar tools a plus · Strong skills in one or more of Python, Java, Perl or shell and familiar with Agile methodologies · Strong interest in designing innovative approaches to security and engineering problems · Able to work independently or cooperatively to deliver results · Relevant degree or professional experience in database management · Familiarity with industry standards and regulations applicable to financial or scientific institutions in areas of security and privacy such as SOX, HIPAA, GLBA, ISO2700x, NIST and COBIT is a plus · Oracle and/or CISSP, CISM certifications a plus Regards, Kumar 2148847985, 2148847734 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
