The ideal candidate will need to possess a strong and well-rounded technical acumen and be able to work effectively across multiple projects. Candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting new and existing features, as well as continually expanding the capabilities of our technology solution, architecture, and supporting tooling. Agile experience and a proficiency in C# development with a passion for software development to produce superior results. This developer will work collaboratively to understand the dynamics of business processes and convert business requirements into performant, high quality software. He or she will contribute to our technology solution as we advance into an emergent technologies and push the boundaries of software development techniques. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Responsible for developing new features and the maintenance and enhancements of existing functionality • Responsible for creating and maintaining an extensible and performant system architecture • Works effectively within a collaborative team environment • Maintains a broad knowledge of emergent trends in software development platforms, tools, methodologies and their underlying principles • Designs and implements software required to complete user stories and defects • Communicates effectively with team members and project leadership to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. • Ensures unit tests written for all new code • Seeks opportunities to incorporate new technologies into the product’s technology stack when they can add value • Continually seeks opportunities to increase product quality and customer satisfaction. • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions. • Provides application support by analyzing defects, replicating/fixing defects and providing root cause analysis for defects • Troubleshoots and resolves functional and performance related issues Minimum Qualifications & Competencies: • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or MIS is preferred. • Very proficient in all areas of both the traditional Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodologies. • 5 - 8 years of experience using the .NET development environment and C#. • At least 2 years of experience using CSS, JavaScript, with additional experience in jQuery a big plus. • At least 4 years of experience of hands-on development with SQL Server 2008-2012. • Significant experience designing and building enterprise-class web-based business applications. • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) • Experience using MS Dynamics or a comparable CRM is preferred. • Experience using the SQL Server BI Suite (SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS) a big plus. • Knowledge and experience using IIS, SSL, and Web Security. • Knowledge and experience with Design Patterns, Web/Windows based N-tier database applications and Automated Testing • Active member and participant in local .NET user groups and public developer circles. • Experience with a CMS is a plus but not required. • Self-motivated with the ability to make solid technical / business decisions with minimal managerial direction.
