We have a requirement for a *Data Warehouse –ETL - SQL Developer*.
We have an urgent requirement with our direct client for a *Data Warehouse
–ETL - SQL Developer *
Contract Position: *Data Warehouse –ETL - SQL Developer *
Duration: 6 months
Location: Helena, MT
Note: Interviews By Phone/Skype
Start Date: ASAP
*DUTIES*
· Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data
warehouse and analytics architecture to meet the business analysis and
reporting needs.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and supporting new and
current data warehouse processes, employing industry standards and best
practices.
Duties also include working alongside the development team to integrate
reporting and data visualization into web applications
· *Data Warehouse Development:*
· Designs, documents, and implements ETL procedures for intake of
data from both internal and outside sources; as well as ensure data is
verified and quality is checked.
· Designs and implements ETL processes and data architecture to
ensure proper functioning of analytics tools.
· Designs and develops multidimensional models. Collaborates with
stakeholders in ensuring data warehouse architecture.
· Ensures that all warehouse architecture codes are maintained in a
version control system.
· *Report Development:*
· Works closely with other team members and product owners to
document, design, and develop reporting applications, data visualizations
and analytics with various tools such as SSRS and Pentaho.
· Helps resolve bugs and issues and contributes to quality
assurance tasks.
· *Application Development:*
· Follows the team agile process of software development and
contributes to daily stand-ups and planning meetings.
· Works alongside development team to design and develop features
of the software applications using the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.
· This may include data migration and integration processes.
· Performs unit and system level testing on applications.
*SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED*
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field,
or six years of experience as an IT professional.
· Five or more years of experience performing data warehouse
projects, data warehouse architecture development and management.
· Experience with managing Health Care data.
· Comfortable with agile methodologies.
· Extensive experience with technologies such as SQL Server, SSAS,
SSIS, and SSRS.
· High proficiency in dimensional modeling techniques.
· Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills; as
well as the ability to make good judgment and work with both technical and
business personnel.
· Strong Customer Service experience
· Understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
principles including stating source data, master data management and
conformed dimensions and dimensional data models.
· Understanding of the underlying architecture of Microsoft SQL
Server and the Microsoft BI stack.
· Experience with developing enterprise level applications using
the .NET programming components.
· Customer Service experience
· Excellent Communication skills
