Role: Quality Analyst/Tester Location: New York, NY 10038 Duration: Above 4 months Only Local Candidates With GC/USC SCOPE OF SERVICES: The Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) seek to hire a candidate who will be a LEADER responsible for participating in requirements analysis, test planning and testing a web application integrated with a legacy internal system for the primary case management and adjudication application NYCServ. Test activities include strategy, planning as well as actual testing. The position requires the individual work under pressure, adhere to deadlines and deliver a quality product at the conclusion of the engagement. Candidate will be supporting a new as well as an existing product to plan and execute tests, develop detail test cases and test matrices to ensure quality of products delivered to our customers. Candidate will need to understand business requirements and/or product design considerations to develop test requirements, test plans and test cases. The Test Cases must validate that applications operate according to the functional and technical specifications and business rules as defined by the Users. Develop Defect Tracking SOP to define the process for capturing, inputting data, and reporting of defects discovered during software testing to establish a baseline standard from which project and test teams can build upon and customize to suit project and customer needs. Develop and Implement defect prevention process and procedures. Draft process improvement guidelines; recommend a road map for centralizing QA functions across BI.
