Client is seeking a Blueprint Requirements Management Consultant for an
initial 3 to 6 month contracting role. Contract extension is likely
provided the consultant exceeds our client’s expectations.
*Responsibilities: *
· Analyze the current state of how our client is utilizing the
Blueprint requirements management tool today, and recommend areas where and
how our client can better utilize Blueprint.
· Establish and implement best practices in the usage of Blueprint
Requirements Center (RC) for analysts to manage requirements, process flows
and Use Cases; and conduct Blueprint training for users as necessary.
· Identify, recommend, and define process improvement opportunities
related to requirements management and project management relative to
integrating the Blueprint tool as value add solution in order to meet
business objectives.
· Develop and maintain a customer-focused relationship with
business stakeholders and other IT areas by exhibiting a high level of
collaboration, timely communication and responsiveness.
· Clearly set expectations with all parties involved in each phase
of the engagement and then successfully deliver, meeting those expectations.
*Required Skills:*
· *Minimum 10 years of total I.T. experience including at least 8
years of experience as a Business Analyst; including some experience in a
Lead Business Analyst role. *
· *Must have experience in establishing and implementing best
practices in usage of Blueprint Requirements Center (RC) for analysts to
manage requirements, process flows and Use Cases. *
· *Experience conducting Blueprint training for users of the tool.*
· Must have previous experience working as a consultant in a
corporate environment.
· *Familiarity with the BABOK and principles (best practices).*
· *Solid understanding of the following: Business / Functional /
System Requirements (and creating these documents), UML, Object Oriented
Analysis (OOA), Business Process Modeling, Root Cause Analysis, Use Case
narratives, Requirements Traceability, Business Rules Analysis and Test
Case Development.*
· Excellent team building skills including the ability to coach and
mentor less senior business analysts.
· Strong understanding of requirements management best practices.
· Experience with leading requirements gathering sessions and JAD
sessions.
· Solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
· Strong leadership and relationship building skills; and ability
to work with all levels of an organization’s technical and business
departments in order to meet key deliverables.
· Solid analytical, technical and problem solving skills; ability
to multi-task.
· Customer and goal focused; needs to understand the importance of
a strategic initiative to the business and is able to set client
expectations appropriately.
· Ability to display strong sense of urgency and work with minimal
supervision in a fast paced, dynamic, team oriented environment.
· Any experience working in a CMMI environment is a plus.
· Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
· Bachelor’s degree is a must.
