The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for improving the quality
of a broad range of applications by designing and implementing test plans
and test scripts to ensure the overall quality of delivered software
applications and application enhancements. The Quality Assurance Analyst
plays a significant role in QA and is responsible for tasks necessary for
measuring and evaluating product quality and performance. The individual in
this role will interact with project management, business analysis,
development, hardware, network, database, and other groups involved in
project planning, development, and testing. Resource is required to assist
applications and systems teams in identifying and resolving problems as
well as recommending application changes for optimum performance



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

•           Review business requirements, functional requirements and
technical specifications of current software development projects

•           Participate in Functional requirement reviews, clarifying
requirements, understanding design decisions

•           Convert requirements and specifications into a QA test plan,
test cases and ultimately test scripts. Review of test plan with peer job
families for coverage of software changes being introduced.

•           Create, review, update and execute automation scripts as
required for development, debugging efforts, and regression activity for a
release.

•           Execute test cases, report progress and determine whether
software working to specifications. Document defects and other issues in a
timely and accurate manner

•           Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects providing
Development/Business Analyst partners with sufficient detail to understand,
replicate and prevent future occurrences the defect

•           Document and enter test defect tickets discovered during the
test cycle

•           Follow up on outstanding issues to meet testing timelines

•           Ensure that no defective products are moved to end user testing
or production environments without stakeholder approval

•           Assist in post-implementation issue review and continuous
improvement efforts to enhance system performance.

•           Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

What level of education or specialized training is required to perform the
job?

         Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course
work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is
strongly preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job
experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the
essential functions of this job.



List any special certifications, licenses, and/or knowledge requirements
for this job:

         SQL programming experience or certification is highly preferred.



How many years of directly related job experience are required to be
qualified to enter the job?

         8-10 years QA experience

         Strong preference on previous mortgage loan experience
