Primary Job Responsibilities:
This team is responsible for the applications and web services that support
Globalization for all applications. As a member of the team, you will help
us develop product solutions and deliver features that power the next
generation of Globalization apps. You will be involved from concept to
rollout.
Responsibilities include:
· Design and write high quality, high performance code in front end
technologies React, Express, Node.js, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML and CSS.
· Participate in development life cycle activities like design,
coding, testing and production release.
· Collaborate with peers and seniors both within their team and
across the organization.
· Work with product owners using agile methodologies to deliver
high quality solutions on time.
· Work with the operations team to ensure your applications and
services are highly available and reliable.
What we're looking for:
· Expert in developing Node applications
· Understanding of JavaScript application design and testing
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong team player
· Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Scrum process
· Experience developing SPA (using React preferred)
· A constant desire to grow, learn, and explore new things
· BS in EE/CS with minimum of 6 years (or MS) experience in
fast-paced software industry with an understanding of QA methodologies.
Nice to have:
· Experience with front end packaging solutions like Webpack,
Bower, Browsify
· Experience with source control management tools like Git or
Subversion
· Experience with Grunt or other build/packaging systems
Experience with test frameworks like Jest, Mocha
