Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor), an award winning IT solutions provider
located in Rockville, MD, is seeking a Data Warehouse ETL Developer to
gather information from users, design a system, and implement ETL
solutions. The successful candidate will have experience with conducting
requirements gathering and analysis, creating entity relationship diagrams,
Oracle database architecture, and use of web-design tools. This is a
full-time position located in Washington, DC. Additional roles and
responsibilities include:
· Guides users in formulating requirements, advises on alternatives and on
the implications of new or revised data transformation requirements
· Designs Universes, Classes, Objects, and Hierarchies for
Multidimensional Analysis of underlying datasets
· Develops complete specifications for required ETL schemas
· Analyzes subject-matter reports to be automated
Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems,
or other appropriate computer-related fields is preferred
· 3+ years of experience working in an enterprise level data warehouse
· 5+ years of experience working in software and application development
environment
· Experience with Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) or Informatica
· Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is a plus
Skills:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Must be organized and detail-oriented
· Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a
professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner
