I am looking for a senior SFDC Tech Lead for a yearlong contract in MD. I
need a very strong senior lead with strong development skills. Please
don’t send me senior developers or Tech Leads who don’t have strong
development skills. We are looking to have people interview this week and
make a final decision by Friday. I am including a very detailed JD from
the hiring manager.

The candidate will also need to be onsite at least 75% of the time so
somebody local, willing to relo, or within driving distance (DC metro, MD,
Philly metro, or NYC metro) would be ideal.

*Position: Senior Salesforce Tech Lead*

*Start: Immediate*

*Location: Baltimore, MD*

Summary:

   1. Strong development experience - Although the off shore team will be
doing the bulk of the development work, having someone who can build out
some of the more complex parts of the code and provide strong code review
input on the offshore code will be critical, both because of the complexity
off the overall system, and secondly because client will be doing code
reviews from their end and he is very detail oriented.
   2. Strong problem solving - Again, we will be getting into some
interesting requirements as the project goes on and unexpected issues are
going to come up on a regular basis. We will need someone who will look at
the issue and spend the time to come up with a clean solution taking into
account the fact that it has to integrate with the rest of the system.
Easy outs, quick hacked solutions will drown us. This was one of the big
issues I was dealing with over the last couple of days. Creating
unnecessary fields or disabling validation rules instead of properly
structuring the code or investigating the source of the problem.
   3. Strong communication skills. The person will need to take a story
or request from Steve or I, ask questions to fill in any gaps and translate
that out to the Offshore team. Someone who will speak up if something
coming from Steve or I does not make sense will be very important.
   4. Specific things that it would be good to have experience with:
      1. Salesforce Config/Apex/VF
      2. Enterprise/Large system experience. We will have some larger data
volumes and user counts so someone with experience developing in
that type
      of environment would be important.
      3. Lightning Components would be a bonus as we will likely be looking
to use these where possible to be future ready

Webservice/Callout/Integration experience. Nice to have as well, with the
number of integrations we have it would be good to have someone who
understands the implications on the system when developing other components.
