*Job description:- Technical/Functional Skills*

*Preferred Qualifications:*
BA or BS preferred.

   - Demonstrated success leading projects in excess of $5.M per year.
   - 8 years experience creating integrated business and IT project plans,
   key milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resource plans, resource
   loading, risk management plans, project management including change and
   quality control.
   - Must have experience implementing at least 2 IT solutions and managing
   customer. expectations in a multi (3+) divisional/multi regional business
   environment.
   - Prefer HealthCare and/or Claims experience
   - Excellent oral and written communications skills.
   - Must have a positive attitude, and the ability to work and communicate
   with all levels of management, internal and external vendors/partners,
   system integrators, etc.
   - Experience in directing project teams consisting of Solutions
   Consultants, Programmer Analysts/Developers, Business Analysts, Subject
   Matter Experts, Infrastructure Engineers/Consultants, Quality Assurance
   Resources, Vendors, etc.
   - Experience with managing budgets and metrics associated with large
   projects.
   - Ability to develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope
   and establish. objectives for assigned projects.
   - PMP Certification strongly desired.

Ability to sustain strong ongoing relationships with senior and executive
client. management during implementation of national initiatives.

   - Effectively manage and execute one or more projects or tracks within a
   program.
   - Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Claims Sub portfolio's
   project management capability through the development and improvement of
   processes and through sharing of best practices across the PM team.
   - Define, develop and execute integrated project plan, Define and
   develop team structure and roles & responsibilities.
   - Lead all phases of projects, from concept through deployment,
   including needs assessment, system requirements determination, TCO
   estimates, planning, scoping, scheduling, budgeting, development, testing,
   implementation, etc.
   - Conduct business impact and cost/benefit analysis evaluations and
   recommend the appropriate course of action for assigned projects.
   - Effectively communicate project status, recommend actions and
   determine priorities with the Business and IT stakeholders. Establish
   appropriate project control, processes, standards and procedures. Track
   internal and external vendor deliverables to ensure that they meet
   committed scope, schedule and budget.

Positively influence project stakeholders, perform at a strategic and
tactical/hands-on level, and provide communications and guidance to senior
executives and sponsors regarding their role in ensuring the success of all
assigned projects. Facilitate communications and interactions between
functional groups, team members, strategic partners and vendors

*ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES -*

   - Leverage knowledge of project management life cycle to lead the
   development of consistent processes and methods within the Claims
   sub-portfolio consistent with KPIT standards.
   - Develop key working relationships with team members from regional
   KPIT, business clients, and the Claims group. Effectively take on the
   leadership role of assigned projects.

*Additional Requirements:*
Project Management Professional (PMP ) from the Project Management
Institute preferred.
Identifies individuals who can competently practice as a project manager
leading and directing project tasks.
Demonstrates understanding of, and knowledge in IT methods and project
management, and applies this in all stages of project.
Advanced knowledge (broad expertise or unique knowledge) of policies,
practices and systems.
Develops advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.
Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
Recognized as authority in project management across IT.
Demonstrates knowledge of and provides continuous feedback for improvement
of approved IT project management methods and IT business methods to
projects.
Sustains strong ongoing relationships with client middle and senior
management during projects.
Leverages project management experience and knowledge by acting as tutor on
relevant training or by providing on-project PM learning to team members.
Having broad expertise or unique project management knowledge, uses skills
to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to
achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data
requires an evaluation of intangibles.
Assesses effectiveness of project managers working within there
project/program, and provides guidance when individual project tracks are
not progressing as planned or are not addressing issues that may impact
project.
Having broad expertise or unique project management knowledge, uses skills
to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to
achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data
requires an evaluation of intangibles.
