*Position : SQL BI Developer * *Location : Ewing, NJ * *Duration : 6+ Months Interview : Phone then Face to Face GC , USC Only* *Job Requirement* · SQL & T-SQL programming experience · Cognos or Tableau · SSIS/ETL · Erwin or data modeling a plus - Modify existing and/or create new systems to meet business requirements that run efficiently within the structure of the systems environment and in conformance with company policies and security guidelines. - Lead development efforts to enhance and streamline Operational Data Stores/Data Warehouse. - Understand business problems and develop solutions appropriate to the business and technical goals. Analyze business processes and maintain system and database interfaces. Prepare required supporting documentation. - Design and maintain security structures and data access rules according to corporate security policies. Adhere to policies and procedures regarding configuration management, testing, and quality control. - Work with other technical areas as a technology team member to integrate new initiatives, solve problems, and provide outstanding customer support. - Implement and design systems in accordance with Information System Life Cycle methodology. - Develop, modify, and test computer application software to operate according to user specifications and within company guidelines. Optimize extract, translate, and load processes. - Responsible for database architecture and maintenance. *Minimum qualifications:* - Minimum 8 years experience in programming with at least 5 years’ experience on MS SQL Server backend T-SQL programming (queries, triggers, stored procedures etc.) combined with at least 3 years in Business Intelligence (BI) development and exposure to products such as QlikView, COGNOS, Business Objects, Tableau etc.. - Must have experience with SSIS or similar ETL (control/data flow tasks, transformations etc.) tools. - Must have experience and knowledge of the SDLC - Experience with SSRS, SSAS and knowledge/experience with OLAP structures is a big plus. - Experience with Data Modeling tools such as ERWIN is a plus. - Experience with front-end programming/scripting is a big plus - Strong analytical and organizational skills - Excellent decision making skills. - Must be able to work independently - Good written and verbal communication skills *Regards , * *Kailash Negi* *VSG Business Solutions* *Phone : 302-261-3207 x 102* *Email : [email protected] <[email protected]> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
