*New role for a Sr. Level Scala Developer. This position will be on sight
for the 1st 3 months, then can be worked remotely (with 1 trip to Philly
quarterly). Needs to be an expert with Scala, enough to be able to teach a
team of Java Developers. Needs to have a background with java as well. The
position sits in Philly.*

*Position Description:*
· Teach team how to rework current Java platform into Scala
· Utilize Scala to improve performance stability
· Code Java & Scala using current experience
· Communicate effectively with the team and executives
· Work effectively in a fast-paced environment at the cutting edge
of technology advancement
· Build Restful API’s in Java
· Travel to Philadelphia for first few months to train team, then
work remote, coming to check in with team in Philadelphia once per quarter.
* Required Skills:*
· 7+ years current hands-on Java development experience
· Strong development background with Spring, and building Restful
API’s in Java
· 5+ years lead experience – ability to teach team new concepts and
communicate effectively
· 2+ years Scala development experience (hands-on and current)
