Hope you are doing well, This side Akash and I have a urgent requirement for my client, Please find the job details below and let me know your interest for the same- *POSITION:* Software Development Engineer in Test *Location:* Renton, WA *Duration:* 6-months *Interview process:* 2 Rounds · *POSITION PURPOSE:* The Software Development Engineer in Test is assigned to a QA team and is responsible for the planning and execution of software testing activities for a particular product or suite of products. This includes but is not limited to: participation in requirement and design reviews, development of test plans, test cases, test automation and utilities. Execution of test cases, investigation, analysis and recording defects, tracking defects to closure, documentation of test methods and test status reporting. *JOB DUTIES:* · Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities: · An individual contributor that designs and executes to software test plans based on requirements and design, in order to ensure the quality of the Core organization's software products. · Develops test automation and utilities using C#, javascript, and Microsoft T-SQL. · Reviews and provides input to requirements/stories, design documents, test cases and unit tests. · Develops test plans, test cases, and test automation based on requirements/stories and design documents. · Conducts and documents test case and test automation reviews. · Ensures traceability of test cases to requirements. · Participates in estimating test effort, designing approach, and identifying risks. · Analyzes issues found during testing and provides thorough analysis of the problem. · Designs, executes, and maintains test cases. · Develops expert knowledge across an application or suite of applications. · Contributes to an ongoing process of improving test efficiency and accuracy through the use of better processes, tools, ideas, and infrastructure improvements. · Works collaboratively to achieve testing objectives with other QA teams and technology groups such as Development, Project Management, and Operations. · Effectively communicates and documents any issues or risks encountered during testing. *Secondary Functions:* · May lead or coordinate testing activities within the assigned team as needed. *QUALIFICATIONS:* · 3 - 6 years hands-on software testing experience. · Strong coding and troubleshooting skills in C#, javascript, MS T-Sql, Nunit. · Knowledge of WCF/Rest, Asp.net <http://asp.net/> and Azure services development, ASP.Net <http://asp.net/> Web API a plus. · Some experience with remote debugging of wcf/rest services, end to end troubleshooting, and troubleshooting with intercepting proxies or traffic sniffing tools preferred. · Experience working in a dynamic AGILE/Scrum environment. · Systems and Integration testing experience in a distributed n-tier or SOA environment. · Understanding of web and database technologies. · Hands-on experience with test planning, test execution and designing, implementing and maintaining high quality test suites and tools. · Solid understanding of QA/QE concepts, methodologies, best practices, tools, and processes. · Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
