*Position : DevOps Engineer * *Location : Herndon, VA* *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone then Face to Face* *GC , USC Only* *Job Description* · Leading the development, maintenance, and usage of deployment and task automation for cloud infrastructure services (OS, database services, user account management, virtual networks, or other platform services) *Job Requirement* · Scripting (BASH, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.) and building required *automation *(using standard technologies such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef) and tools in a large-scale enterprise environment · Participating on fast-paced DevOps and Sys Ops Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes · Creating and delivering knowledge sharing presentations and documentation to developers and operations teams (Document system diagrams, run books, and procedures, etc.) · Learning on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision · Attending and contributing in technical discussions and working groups with various stakeholders · 8-10 years of related systems engineering experience. · Experience leading the development, maintenance, and usage of deployment and task automation for cloud infrastructure services (OS, database services, user account management, virtual networks, or other platform services) · Demonstrated expertise scripting (BASH, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.) and building required automation (using standard technologies such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef) and tools in a large-scale enterprise environment · Demonstrated Linux experience (e.g.: Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) · Experience with *Amazon Web Services* such as EC2, S3 and/ or RDS · Understanding of CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Elastic Beanstalk and IAM desired · Understanding of protocols/technologies like SOA, HTTP, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, Servlet/JSP, SQL, HTML, XML · Hands-on experience implementing and managing enterprise monitoring and logging solutions · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, keeping track of and completing multiple tasks/issues · Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail · Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. *Thanks and Regards , * *Neha Saral* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions* *Email ID : [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Phone: 302-261-3207 x 111* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
