Position: Cognos BI Developer Location: Hazelwood, MO Duration: 6 Months (with option to extend) Posting Position Description: Provides Cognos BI reporting design, development and ongoing support for a portfolio of operational reports and dashboards supporting Mallinckrodt’s Daily Sales Reporting, Contract & Revenue Management Reporting, and Executive Scorecard/Dashboard. This position also provides Cognos Framework Manager modeling support and Cognos Transformer support for management of associated Cognos BI cubes. As needed, this position will also provide basic Cognos Security Administration support for provisioning user accounts, granting & maintaining access privileges to Cognos reporting objects, and insuring the overall integrity of the Cognos data assets. This position will assist in the development and publication of operational service metrics to provide management with insights into Cognos report/dashboard usage and operational/performance metrics. In addition, the position will assist with various Cognos content management housekeeping activities. Required Technical Skills: Cognos Report Studio, Cognos Analysis Studio, Cognos Framework Manager, Transformer, Cognos Connection, Cognos Access Manager, Cognos Mobile, Relational DBMS/Sql skills (Oracle, MS Sql Server, DB2/400), Proficiency with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel. Additional experience with QlikView & QlikSense is a Plus. Required Professional Skills: Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision, strong communication/interpersonal skills (verbal and written), basic project planning & project management skills.
