*Job Summary*
This position designs, plans, implements, maintains, and supports the
enterprise UNIX environment including monitoring, backups, and storage.
*Primary Duties and Responsibilities*
- Architects, implements, and manages Linux solutions to have the
appropriate levels of performance, cost, reliability, scalability, and
recoverability
*Education and Experience Profile*
- B.S. degree related to Information Systems or relevant field
- Minimum 7 years total Information Systems experience
- Enterprise I.T. experience strongly preferred
*Required Skills*
- Senior-level SUSE or Red Hat Linux administration skills
- Strong time-management and project-management skills
- Ability to perform in a dynamic and team oriented environment
- SAN management experience including fiber channel zoning
Skill priority order:
1) SUSE linux
2) AIX
3) SAN administration
