Hyperion is the system, and the role will support 6-7 applications with
Hyperion.
Candidate will perform admin duties on Hyperion planning space
Day to day activities:
*Technical statement planning Partnering with business partners Managing
security Updating the hierarchy dimensions Interactive with the users for
any issues Supporting forecasting and close cycles*
Role will also be involved in development activities
At Least 5 years of Hyperion Experience Needed
At least 3 years of SQL needed
Manager will start with a phone screen (will be very technical) and then
move to on-site interview
Experience requirements:
• Minimum 7 years hands-on Hyperion Planning / Essbase application
development and support experience incorporating project and team management
• Minimum 7 years’ experience designing and delivering Hyperion based
solutions to consolidation, forecasting and management reporting
requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting end-user processes (e.g. Close,
Budget, Forecast)
• Prior experience working with HFM an advantage but not mandatory.
Training will be provided
• Experience on Hyperion version 11.1.2.X is desirable
• Strong SQL/ PL SQL expertise
Description:
• Responsible for ensuring that all applications perform optimally at all
times (Hyperion Planning, Essbase)
• Ensure support and development service that meets or exceeds existing
SLA’s
• Ensure all development activity is compliant with change control
procedures and is rigorously tested
• Where appropriate, ensure change procedures comply with SOX controls
• Ensure disaster recovery procedures giving site and server based
resilience are in place and regularly tested
• Provide a technical support and development service for each of these
applications. This will involve gaining a detailed understanding of the
application structures, the business processes they support and the
requirements of a diverse user base
• Maintaining and operating calc scripts, business rules, partitions and
forms
• Maintaining metadata, FDM maps and managing data transfers between
applications including HFM
• Access control and development of the security model
• End User support
• Maintain/develop processes/scripts using Microsoft SQL Server.
