*Position : VMware Architect * *Location : Raritan, NJ * *Duration : 12+ Months Interview : Phone / Skype* The expectation is that the VMWare Architect will be onsite for the first few (perhaps 3) months and the remainder will be a mix of onsite and remote (TBD). Job Description · Seeks VMWare Architect for our preferred client in their Raritan, NJ. · The qualified candidate will possess 8+ years of experience in three major areas, including: VMWare Architect, Enterprise Experience, and Strong Backup and Recovery Experience. Job Requirement · The candidate must have strong VMware skills – not just administration, but architecture and design. This is a large enterprise environment. The candidate is expected to have 8+ years of VMware/Enterprise knowledge. · The candidate must also have very strong backup and recovery background as well as DR (for example VMware SRM). · The candidate must have excellent communication skills – to understand the technology at a deep level, but then be able to explain the key pieces to senior leadership. The candidate will be an internal consultant to this organization. · Database virtualization expertise is an asset. · SAP experience is highly desirable.
