*.Net Application Developer* *Long term contract* *Location: Menlo Park, CA* *Job Description:* We have an open contract position for a *.NET Application Engineer*. *Requirements* - Proficient in designing and developing enterprise solutions utilizing latest .Net Framework technology. - Extensive programming experience in C# is a must. - Experience in developing scalable distributed applications utilizing a combination of the following is a must. (WCF, REST-ful Web Services, ASP.NET, SOAP based Web Services and ADO.Net) - Experience with creating views, queries, and indexes and running traces in SQL backend to quickly debug and fix issues. - Extensive experience in developing data driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines like MS-SQL as part of the overall application architecture is a must. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), such as data structures, memory management, parallel programming and design patterns. - Experience with various authentication mechanisms for making the web-service layer and database connections more secure. - Release management and handling code deployments to IIS. - Experience working with PowerShell, python and Node JS is a plus. - Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, stability, and security of applications and in-house systems to help scale the company. - Solve problems creatively and work collaboratively across a wide array of partners. - Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload efficiently.
