*Position : QA Automation Tester* *Location: Charlotte, NC* *Duration: 6+ months * *Interview: Phone then Skype* * Description:* - Seeking a Senior QA Engineer *Responsibilities:* - Implements the testing strategies and methods for Enterprise applications and data products - Responsible for analyzing and testing IT product lines that are developed for internal and external customers - Works in collaboration with Application Development; the Quality Assurance team; the Project Management team; the Data Warehouse team; the Solutions Center and other IT stakeholders to ensure that the applications development projects have been tested and meet the required deliverables - Role includes planning, designing, executing and tracking the results of associated test efforts - Not client facing but we will have a lot of interaction with the team and the candidate must be a good communicator *Requirements:* - Strong Communication Skills - Quick learner and self-starter - *Experience with testing automation (Java, Selenium, Cucumber, HTML Structures, Frameworks)* - A Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) required - Area of study in IT, Computer science or related discipline - 5-7 years of relevant experience - Minimum of 5 years work experience in IT Applications Development to include: Web/.NET/JAVA technology; Windows/XP/UNIX platforms; QTP/Loadrunner/Quality Center; MicroStrategy/BI environments; Verifying queries, validating input; Writing complex SQL and automation test scripts; ETL processes and testing; HP Suite of Products (QTP/Loadrunner/Quality Center); object oriented programming; Java, JSP; UNIX/Linux, and Windows XP Systems ; J2EE, Spring, Struts, JavaScript, XML, REST/SOAP/JSON, Hibernate and/orIbatis; Server side platforms: Red Hat, Apache Http Server, Tomcat and JBoss; Development tools: ANT, Subversion, Maven, Hudson, Junit/DbUnit/FlexUnit, Hypersonic, Easymock, Eclipse. - *2-3 years application development in a Java environment.
