HM is seeking strong BAs that understand infrastructure environments.  FS
experience is *not* a requirement.





This role is currently scheduled for a 12month contract in one of the
Enterprise Services teams within Group CTO.



The Business is seeking the following experience:

-          Core, hands-on BA (strong req management, documentation,
communication, etc.)

-          Lead, Developed or Implemented best practices (this skillset is
lacking in their current team)

-          IT analysis (this is not a Financial BA – it's a Technical BA;
must have knowledge of IT projects & analyze data accordingly)

-          Big scale projects (example: migrations, been on a large
cross-functional team, etc.)

-          Global experience

-          Basic testing knowledge (ability to validate & execute test
cases)

-          CMDB / ITIL experience (Asset Management, Configuration
Management, etc.)** -- a nice to have





ROLE SUMMARY:
As a member of the Global Business Analysis Team within TS Enterprise
Services, this role takes the lead in providing Business Analysis skills
supporting the development of requirements, solution designs and deployment
strategies in the field of Infrastructure Data Management.

TS Enterprise Services are responsible for providing innovative approaches
through maintaining knowledge of industry best practice, technology trends
and product availability. Developing business and technical requirements
through consultation with key client stakeholders and ensuring adherence to
corporate standards for risk and security compliance. The role requires
undertaking functional evaluations through the development of relevant
requirements; documentation of various initiatives to produce Functional
Specifications for approval by management.

ROLE INVOLVES:
The Infrastructure Data Management Product Management domain maintains a
set of Products with a heavy focus on "Inventory Asset" Management (e.g.
Servers, Webservers, Storage, Database, Network, etc.) and includes
discovery, a CMDB and Integration layer. It's the core capability for
creating IT Transparency and enabling Service Management Processes and
supporting Automation of IT Operations.

The role involves working as part of the Business Analysis team for
Infrastructure Data Management Product Management. This role will be
responsible for delivery of:
• Stakeholder analysis and requirements engineering.
• Elicitation-, analysis-, documentation-, supporting the prioritization
of-, specifying- and communicating requirements, describing processes & use
cases and proposing improvements, ensuring a common understanding between
Business/Stakeholders and IT/Project.
• Collaboration with other BA's, Product Managers, Project Managers, TDA's,
Architecture and Engineering within Enterprise Services to ensure high
quality deliverables.
• Collaboration with depending projects / releases inside and outside of
Service Management Technologies
• Contributing to a reduction of implementation risks by delivering high
quality requirement specifications.
• Actively supporting the complete lifecycle of requirements based on (the
Business Analysts responsibilities within) CS-SDF (PtX).

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven track record of 3-5 years' experience in the role as Business
Analyst, preferably in the banking/finance industry.
• Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to
interpret customer business needs and translate them into Requirements and
Functional Specifications.
• Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts,
decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level
information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from
the underlying true needs.
• Detailed understanding of "Infrastructure Inventory" e.g. Databases, Web
Services, Storage, Server and Network
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong customer management, communication and influencing skills.
• Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of
project managers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) and the
ability to (proactively) interact with a diverse group of stakeholders,
managers, and subject matter experts.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish the design and
strategy and analyze tradeoffs between key requirements.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent;
alternatively a similar education in the IT space.

Additional skills:
− Needs to be capable of working on own initiative.
− Experience with deployment of a CMDB product is a definite plus
_ Experience with HP Asset Manager and/or ADDM is a plus.
− Experience with HP Quality Center is a plus.
− Experience with ITIL is a plus.
