Hope you’re doing great this is Mohammed from Pace Solutions Inc. *We have an urgent requirement as follows:* *Role Title: IBM Data Modeler * *Duration: Long-term * *Work Location: Columbus, GA* *Exp: 8+ Years* *Description:* Should be an expert in IBM BDW Data Models and Enterprise Data Warehouse Architecture and Data Marts ü Should have solid understanding of enterprise and reporting modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling, snowflakes, slowly changing dimensions, irregular dimensions, and surrogate/compound intelligent keys ü Should have excellent experience in mapping data into the IBM data model. Should have hands on experience in IBM BDW (Banking Data Warehouse) ü Should have extensive experience is analyzing the source data and generate data Models and source & target mapping specs ü Should be an expert in ER Win and IBM Data Architect (as a backup data modeling tool) ü The candidate should be able to quickly grasp business subject matter, work with the associated business data within source systems and within analytical software platforms, and aid business managers and analysts in finding clear approaches to analyze their business data in a consultative environment. ü Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define industry-leading Models and naming convention for a wide variety of business topics and industries, while applying best practices in EDW to Data Mart mapping and Meta data management ü Gather and prepare data to support analytics from a variety of data source types including databases, flat files, external sources, etc. as necessary ü Conduct and lead client white-boarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings as needed, playing a key role in educating the ETL Development team. ü Produce DDLs & test script using ER WIN or IBM Data Architect 9.1.x software and provide coaching to internal technical resources on best practices ü Produce documentation to aid both users of Data Models and business users of the IBM Infosphere software and database platforms ü Work closely with clients in both IT and business, with an understanding and sensitivity toward of the diverse needs of each group ü Troubleshooting modeling issues by having the various tools and access to CoE within TCS for the best practices in creating user friendly mapping specs and meta-data. ü Comfort in driving business requirement effort independently or working as part of the project team ü Timeframe – Data Modeling work would need to be completed before the end of 2016 ü Location – onsite in Columbus, Georgia *Skill sets * ü Experienced IBM BDW Data Modeler with hands-on experience in creating Normalized data Models and Financial data Marts. Experience in Analyzing and designing Data Warehouse solutions ü Should have hands on experience in creating Physical, Conceptual and Logical Data Models and generate DDLs from a single instance. ü Hands on experience in Loading Data into the IBM data model including appropriate data quality monitoring. ü Understanding of Business Intelligence patterns (standard data modelling approaches, OLAP platforms, approaches to data presentation and consumption) ü Strong SQL skills (MS SQL Server 2012 preferred) and Meta-data Management skills ü Expert-level proficiency with analytics development using ERWin/IBM Data Architect 9.1.x and can help provide BI solution with best practices and road map to the next steps ü Understanding of best practices, industry standard approaches and methodologies ü Consulting experience; experience estimating level of effort for analytics and data work. ü Outstanding communication skills (both in presentation and comprehension) along with the aptitude for thought leadership in analytics ü Should have good interpersonal skills to lead and drive meetings with business users and Governance team to get the requirements and analyze the data.
