*Position : Build Release Engineer * *Location : Tampa , FL * *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone / Skype * *GC , USC , EAD * *Job Description: * · The Build/Release Engineer will be responsible for the execution of release candidate builds; preservation of the integrity of the release candidate process; environment specific configuration of application properties files; and finally the deployment of approved source code and accompanying configuration files into live Production. · Additionally the Incumbent is responsible for the automation of the build and deployment process in addition to being responsible for controlling and preserving the baseline of the RC and Production environments with respect to code, versioning and application specific configuration files. *Job Requirement* · 5+ years of experience with IT Release Management / Build Management, Microsoft TFS (setup & migration), Visual Studio, IIS, Web, UNIX, Windows Operating System *required* · 3 years of experience with Software Builds, Jenkins / Hudson, Ant/Maven, *required* · 2 years of experience writing and creating complete scripts for building and deployment required · 2 years of experience with Java Scripting, PowerShell, UNIX Shell Scripting, Nolio, UrbanCode, or other Automation tools · Experience with databases and running SQL queries* required* · Must have an understanding of Software Development Life Cycle · Experience with MS Release management tools and deployment agents (moving code, configuration changes, stop/start services in production environment · Experience in the HealthCare industry preferred · Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment · Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines *Job Responsibilities* The Release Engineer will be responsible for the execution of release candidate builds; preservation of the integrity of the release candidate process; environment specific configuration of application properties files; and finally the deployment of approved source code and accompanying configuration files into live Production. · Implementing Delphix, state of the art Data Virtualization tool · Implementing GridTools, leading Test Data management tool for data creation, masking and subsetting · Implementing CA Release Automation (Nolio), leading automated software deployment tool for code, database changes and operation scheduling · Implementing CCA, leading IT scanning tool with blueprinting analysis to help create a CMDB · Working across Release, Environment and Test Data Engineering teams · Working on AIX, Linux, Windows, Oracle and SQL Acts as technical liaison between Engineering and Operations for all matters related to final builds and baseline control issues · Develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release · Writes installation scripts and programs for installation of products · Works with project teams to determine an appropriate build schedule and then initiates the build and packaging process · Compiles and assembles software from source code; ensures tools are stored in source control · Works with others to complete analysis, evaluations and design alternatives and to implement process improvements · Works with development engineers to correct build errors; assists with integration of new technologies and companies Regards , Kailash Negi VSG Business Solutions 221 Cornwell Dr Bear, DE Email : [email protected] Phone : 302-261-3207 x 102 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
