*TARGET CANDIDATE*
- Mid-level professional with 5 years’ experience
- Prefers to hire someone from an agency environment with a corporate
demeanor
- Must submit an online portfolio with resume (looking for Symantec
HTML, emphasis on ATTENTION TO DETAIL & clean code – wants clean HTML code
behind the websites)
- Must have experience with mobile websites (responsive design)
*MUST HAVE SKILLS*
The candidate is expected to possess the following key skills:
- Several years’ experience of developing mobile aware web sites.
- Experience of HTML5 / CSS3.
- Experience of JavaScript and jQuery (Will be doing a lot of work with
animation & transitions)
- Experience of JSON, XML, AJAX, etc.
- Experience of Git.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members from
not only development, but all areas of the business.
*SECONDARY SKILLS*
Ideally the candidate should possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of Umbraco v4, v6 or v7.
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of Visual Studio
- Experience with frameworks such as handlebar, AngularJs, KnockoutJS,
etc.
- Experience of SASS, Grunt, Bower, etc.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members from
creative, user experience, media, IT, QA, project and account management
and understand their different motivations and approaches and how to get
the best from each.
- Communicates effectively to senior management with timely and relevant
project information.
- Continuous integration and deployment (TeamCity and Octopus Deploy).
- An understanding of unit testing beneficial.
- Understanding development approaches and methodologies such as
waterfall, Agile/Scrum, UML techniques, etc.
- JIRA, Confluence Project Management exposure
