Job Description:
· *Responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle
including, but not limited to, product research, technical design,
implementation in C++, unit and regression testing, and production support.*
· *Work with operations to diagnose and correct performance or
stability issues.*
· *Expert level C or C++11 on multithreaded systems in a Linux
environment utilizing boost*
· *Experience building latency sensitive systems with a strong
understanding of low level aspects*
· *Strong understanding of hardware stack and hardware architecture
from a latency perspective*
· *Strong understanding of network protocols*
· *Experience writing assembly code desirable*
· *Confident team player motivated by a fast paced environment*
*SKILLS REQUIRED:*
· *Knowledge and experience with C++ and Python*
· *Low-level system and network programming on Linux/Unix*
· *MUST have Real-time, high-volume, high-capacity, low-latency
multi-threaded systems*
· *Experience with RDMA and market data feed handler development a
plus*
· *Understanding of equity markets - micro and macro market
structure and technical experience in the investment banking or financial
industry a plus. *
