FEEDBACK TO VENDORS: In addition to familiarity with the Oracle
applications modules (ie., HR, Payroll Oracle Financials, Projects) , SQL,
PL/ SQL and  strong Oracle database fundamentals skills are necessary for
the candidates to work in this technical support role. This is NOT a
functional support role.



SCOPE OF WORK

The consultant shall perform the following tasks related to supporting the
City of Chandler's Oracle E-Business Suite:



1. Ongoing maintenance of Oracle Applications shall include:

• Support Business Analysts/Systems Analysts in working SR issues with
Oracle.

• Test and coordinate end user testing of patches to fix issues encountered.

• Monitor and resolve any issues with Oracle Workflow and AME (Oracle
Approval Management) specifically for Oracle HRMS Self Service

• Create or update approval hierarchies utilizing Oracle AME and Oracle
Workflow.

• Enhance and optimize business processes utilizing form personalization,
OAF personalization and Oracle Workflow

• Modify Payroll processes to meet new rules and regulations by setting up
global values, balances, modifying Fast Formulas, creating new deduction or
new earning.

• Create Oracle alerts to monitor business events based on users'
requirements.

• Develop new OBIEE reports, BI Publisher reports with an understanding of
Noetix Views and Noetix workbench.

• Work service tickets and IMACs based on priority.

• Writes expert technical documentation to be used as training and
reference materials for System Analysts as well as other IT staff.

• Creates, debugs and runs SQL scripts to conduct data analysis, accuracy
validation and data maintenance.

• Provides expert level knowledge, skill and experience to other Systems
Analysts, IT Infrastructure Specialists, application super users and IT
management;

• Attend Functional and Technical Oracle meetings as directed.

• Provides quality assurance relating to code changes, analysis, design,
requirements and development



2. Other Duties as Assigned

• The IT Applications Support Manager or Oracle Team Lead may assign other
duties as required to maintain support of the City of Chandler Oracle
E-Business Suite and reporting.

• The consultant must provide clear and precise documentation of any
changes made and present documentation for review.  This includes detail
steps outlined for fixes within resolution portion of tickets worked.

3.  Skills

• Extensive knowledge of Oracle EBS suite platform (Application Object
library, Open Interfaces, APIs, Flexfields, Custom Library, Forms
Personalization, OAF Personalization, Alerts, Oracle Workflow, Oracle AME,
OA Framework)

• Experience on the use of SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle
Reports, SQLLoader, Workflow, XML/BI Publisher, Shell Scripting

• Experience working with various Oracle modules: Oracle HRMS, Payroll,
Financials, Projects, Inventory, Order Management.

• Experience in gathering reporting and analysis requirements, documenting
report specifications, implementing metadata layers including Physical,
Business Model and Mapping, and Presentation layer.

• Worked Extensively on Oracle BI Administration Tool, Presentation
Services, Answers, & Interactive Dashboards and Security Implementation.

Looking for an Application Development Project Manager with strong SDLC
knowledge to work within the Information Technology team on our Separation
project.  Work location is 3443 N. Central Ave., Phoenix AZ, Monday through
Friday, 8AM - 5PM;

This individual will be working with our Application Development and
Business Reporting teams, and alongside our business stakeholders and
partners.  They will determine the appropriate individuals within the
organization to partner with based on service requests.  They will work
within the IT organization to create and/or refine processes from service
request intake through report team performance metrics.



Work with business stakeholders and partners to distill business need,
requirements and value of Application Development requests.

Develop strategy and process for prioritization and scoring of service
requests

Create a request analysis and level-of-effort estimation process

Work with Information Technology staff on how to chart the most appropriate
solution path

Develop strategy and process to prepare Application Development team
performance metrics

Create and apply communication plan for team performance metrics

Perform analysis on organization processes and provide recommendations

Provide value added support to all business stakeholders and partners based
on their service requests

Work alongside organizational process development and resource teams to
communicate resource allocation, deliverable schedule and align expectations

Monitor all Application Development service requests and ensure effective
implementation
