*Please check the JD and let me know if you have any candidates available. * *Role :* *Android Developer* *Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL* *Duration : 6+ months * *Interview: Phone then Face to Face* *Need USC,GC Only* *Job Description: * • An Android developer responsible for building mobile applications used enterprise wide. • Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the application and environmental infrastructure. • Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. • Looking for a passionate developer who is interested to learn new skills and also can wear multiple hats. *Responsibilities: * • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications • Excellent knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code • Develop robust Android applications as part of a team using Android Studio • Work with designers to ensure the designed interfaces are implemented correctly • Ensure best practices for user interface development, including accessibility/ localization • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization • Design and develop, high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance. • Participate and contribute in all phases of development lifecycle, using agile methodologies • Write well designed, testable, efficient code *Required Skills: * • 5+ years of software development experience in Android development • Expertise in Restful API's to connect Android applications to back-end services. • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles and patterns. • Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning. • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related • Solid design and coding skills in Java/J2EE • Strong Unit Testing Skills • Solid understanding of Front End Frameworks • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications • A knack for benchmarking and optimization • Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines • Experience with SQL Server, Postgres and other NOSQL databases • Experience with version control systems, such as Git • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment • Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed • Experience with the full development life cycle from inception to production • Sense of ownership for the delivery of an entire piece of a system or application, serving as a technical lead on midsize to large, complex projects *Thanks and Regards* *Vikas Gupta* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *Phone: 4692098270* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
