Proficient with setup and installation of Checkpoint Firewalls and Checkpoint Management consoles version R77.20 or higher. * *2. Proficient with setup and troubleshooting HP Procurve 5600, 5800, 5900 switches.* Overview: The Senior Network Engineer’s primary responsibility is the oversight and day to day management of the IT infrastructure for local and wide area network. Work within a growing team of internal resources to assist with all core responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Establish Site-to-Site VPN tunnels with customers’ VPN systems, and migrate customers off legacy VPN solutions. • Assist Remote Access users with VPN connectivity issues. • Document all network related items. • Replace legacy core layer-3 switches, and troubleshoot any related issues. • Work with a team of 6 to deliver on large project efforts. • Maintain uptime for all network systems. Ensure proper monitoring in place for those networking systems. Requirements: • Proficient with setup and installation of Checkpoint Firewalls and Checkpoint Management consoles version R77.20 or higher. • Expected to build firewall access and NAT policies with little to no assistance. • Expert at setting up and troubleshooting Site-to-Site VPN tunnels utilizing Checkpoint technologies. • Expert at setting up and troubleshooting Client-to-Site (Remote Access) VPN by utilizing Checkpoint technologies with Client based VPN as well as SSL based VPN. • Proficient with setup and troubleshooting HP Procurve 5600, 5800, 5900 switches. Must be able to setup, design and fix VLAN and routing types of issues. • Design and document network architecture for Enterprise-class environments. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidate will interact with team members across the organization, as well as customers, and must be able to do so professionally. • Must be proficient with basic word processing tools like Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Microsoft Visio. Must be able to produce high quality artifacts related to the networks they manage. • Expected to utilize troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, TCPDump, etc. • Must be able to work independently for extended periods of time. • Experience in cloud technologies like AWS is a plus. • Experience with RedHat Linux is a plus.
